Users & access
This guide is for organization admins and IT owners who decide who can use Prego and how.
Before you invite people
- Confirm your billing owner and technical contact with Prego support if contracts require it.
- Decide which roles map to your internal titles (e.g. finance vs. read-only).
Inviting users
Typical flow:
- Open the admin console and go to Users (or Team), depending on your UI version.
- Choose Invite and enter work email addresses.
- Set an appropriate role (admin, member, or custom roles your plan supports).
- Send the invite; users complete sign-in via the link in email (see Authentication).
Roles and permissions
- Admins can usually manage billing, users, and integration settings.
- Members use day-to-day features (ERP modules, My AI, etc.) within the permissions your product assigns.
- Exact labels and capabilities depend on your plan and tenant configuration — use in-app help or support for a matrix specific to your contract.
Single sign-on (SSO)
If your organization uses SSO, your admin enables it with Prego according to your agreement. End users then sign in through your identity provider instead of a separate password. Details are covered under Authentication and your onboarding packet.
Offboarding
When someone leaves:
- Deactivate or remove their user in the admin console (or follow your HR security checklist).
- Rotate any API keys or integration tokens they may have created.
- Open a support ticket if you need audit exports or data deletion tied to that person (see Data & privacy).
