Tenant onboarding
Tenant onboarding is the path from creating your organization in Prego to a ready workspace where users can sign in and use the product (including My AI when it is enabled for you).
Typical flow
- Sign up — A first admin creates the organization through your admin console sign-up flow, often choosing a company name or subdomain as part of registration.
- Verification — Email or other checks confirm the account, depending on how your environment is configured.
- Provisioning — Prego finishes creating your tenant: data isolation, URLs, and default settings. This step is automatic; it may take from a few minutes to longer if your contract includes custom setup.
- First access — The admin signs in, completes any welcome or billing steps, and can invite teammates (see Users & access).
After you are live
- Complete Billing if your plan uses self-serve payment.
- Load master data (items, employees, chart of accounts) per your implementation plan — see the Guides overview for module-oriented pages.
- Turn on My AI features (Knowledge, Autopilot, Chat) when your contract includes them; start with Autopilot for scheduled AI.
For developers
If you are integrating apps or running a sandbox, follow Quick start for environment-specific URLs and API patterns.
